From knowing the next match time in your timezone to reading your team's standings, scorers and stats — a practical guide to following your club without missing a thing.
Being a fan isn't only watching the Friday match; it's following a whole journey through the season: fixtures, results, standings, injuries and player numbers. This practical guide helps you follow your favorite team smartly, without missing a thing.
1. Know the time in your own timezone
The biggest frustration for any fan is "missing" a match due to a time mix-up. European leagues announce local kickoff times, which may differ from yours by two hours or more. Always view fixtures in your country's time. On Shahid Live, all times are shown in Saudi time automatically — no complex maths needed.
2. Follow the score live
If you can't watch, following the live score with the minute and scorers keeps you in the heart of the action. Watch the cards and substitutions too; an early red or a star's injury can flip a match and change how you read it.
3. Read your team's standing in context
Don't look at your team's position in isolation. Ask: how many points from the spot it targets? What's the goal difference? How did its direct rivals do this week? A fourth-placed team can be in a great spot or under threat, depending on those around it.
4. Track scorers and playmakers
The league's top-scorers list shows who carries your team in attack, and comparing your striker's numbers with rivals gives a real sense of his level this season — not just an impression.
5. Don't ignore upcoming fixtures
Knowing the fixture list helps you read how hard the road is: an easy run to gather points, or back-to-back clashes against the big sides? That reshapes your realistic expectations.
6. Put the full picture together
A smart fan doesn't stop at the score. They combine kickoff time, the live result, the standings, player numbers and upcoming fixtures into a balanced view of their team's season. All these tools live in one place on Shahid Live: open any league page for standings and scorers, and the matches page for today's and tomorrow's kickoffs in Saudi time.
In the end, good following makes for a more enjoyable, more informed fan — and that's half the beauty of the game.
