BBC Sport has launched a daily football quiz that tests fans' knowledge with "Who Am I?", "Five in Five" and a brain‑teaser. The quiz is now live on the BBC Sport website.
What is the daily quiz launched by BBC Sport on 24 September 2026? It is a football quiz designed to test fans' knowledge of players, clubs and historic achievements.
Quiz structure
The quiz consists of three main sections:
- Who Am I? – A brief description is given and participants must identify the player or club.
- Five in Five – Five questions in five minutes covering recent events or statistics.
- Brain‑teaser – A puzzle that requires analytical thinking or linking disparate facts.
The quiz updates every morning GMT and can be accessed via the BBC Sport quizzes page. After answering, users receive an instant score and a ranking compared to other participants.
Fans are encouraged to share their results on social media using #BBCFootballQuiz, and the top performers are highlighted weekly in the “Sports Round‑up” bulletin. The initiative aims to boost engagement and provide entertaining, knowledge‑rich content.
This interactive format reflects the channel’s commitment to expanding its football coverage beyond news and match reports, offering a fun way for audiences to stay connected with the sport.
