USMNT midfielder Tyler Adams said the new international camp will help develop prospects ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Camp details
The camp takes place during the October 2026 international window in California and brings together a group of players called up for the first time or early in their senior careers. Adams described them as “prospects” that the coaching staff aims to refine tactically and physically for upcoming friendlies against Canada and Mexico.
Training objectives
- Improve tactical understanding of attacking and defensive schemes.
- Boost fitness levels and ability to sustain a high‑tempo game.
- Give head coach Gregg Berhalter a chance to evaluate players before finalising the World Cup roster.
Adams noted that training alongside experienced teammates such as Christian Pulisic and Jordan Morris will raise the youngsters’ standards. He added that the ultimate goal is to build a cohesive squad capable of competing at the highest level.
Future outlook
Some of the players featured in this camp are expected to make the final 26‑man roster for the 2026 World Cup, which will be co‑hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico. Adams emphasized that “every player in this camp has a chance to prove himself.”p>
